Hello! My name is Caite, and I’m a Momma of five! I’m the epitome of a soccer mom – always on the go with my kids! My children are ages 6-17! I will be 40 years old in May! Never did I EVER think I would EVER do a boudoir session, but I did, and I am so happy that I did! I have been insecure and felt unworthy my whole life.
I have dealt with weight issues all of my life. I had one really bad marriage, but I stayed for as long as I did because we had three young children. After the divorce, I met my current husband, and we had two children together. My husband is the most amazing man, and is absolutely the dad who stepped up, and not just a stepdad. After my fifth child was born, my body went crazy and I started gaining weight like crazy. Doctor after doctor disregarded me, even though I knew something wasn’t right with my body.
Just when I was about to lose hope and just accept that my nearly 40-year-old self was going to continue to gain weight, have zero energy, and seemed to stay in autopilot mode, I found a doctor who actually listened to me and said she was going to get my body back on track. In one year’s time, I lost 100 pounds. Between my health bouncing back and a supportive partner, I started to find my voice again. I found myself again. I was super hesitant and nervous walking up to Blush’s door just a couple of weeks ago, but the second I was inside, Stacy and Brilee made me feel so welcome and, honestly, comfortable. I am so Grateful to these amazing women for giving me the experience that I did. My photo shoot was initially meant for my husband as a Valentine’s Day present, but I got so much more out of it than I ever imagined. I walked in feeling like a tired, underpaid chauffeur to my basketball team of kids with no sense of individuality. I have said for so long that “I’m just a Mom.”
After seeing my pictures, I felt like a Badass who knew exactly what she wanted in this crazy thing called Life. I saw myself in a way that I never, ever have before, and I couldn’t have done it without Stacy and Brilee. ❤️
